GFL has announced that there will be no collection of recycling, yard waste, or trash on Friday, July 4, due to the holiday. Residents whose regular collection day falls on this date will have their pickup rescheduled for Saturday, July 5.
Normal schedules for recycling, yard waste, and trash collection are set to resume the following week.
Residents are reminded to set out their containers by 6 am on their scheduled day to avoid missing a collection. After pickup, containers should be moved from the curb or alley within 24 hours and placed in a garage or alongside the house or garage. Containers should not be left on the street or sidewalk.
