Analysis: Chillicothe pays $4.15 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Chillicothe Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.6 percent of the $264,090 the Chillicothe Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.15 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Chillicothe contributed $212,885 to the fund, which saw a $9,989 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $51,205, or 19.4 percent, in 2016.
