Village of Tremont Board of Trustees met April 2.

President Todd Bong called to order this regular meeting of the Tremont Village Board at 7:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Tremont Village Hall.
Present: President Bong, Trustees Scott, Zuercher, Replogle, Getz
Absent: Trustees Harding, Scranton

Minutes:
Trustee Zuercher moved to approve the minutes for the regular meeting of March 19, 2018, and Replogle seconded.
Ayes: All (incl. Bong) Nays: None Motion carried.
Trustee Zuercher moved to approve the March 5 Executive Session minutes, and Scott seconded.
Ayes: All (incl. Bong) Nays: None Motion carried.
Bills:
Trustee Zuercher moved to approve all bills incurred since March 19, 2018, and Scott seconded.
Ayes: All (incl. Bong) Nays: None Motion carried.
(Trustee Getz seated)
Trustee Zuercher moved to transfer $20,486.24 from General Savings to Police Oper- ations Checking to cover bills and payroll. Scott seconded.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
Trustee Zuercher moved to transfer $10,507.46 from General Fund Savings to Motor Fuel Tax as per MFT Documentation Compliance Review and Replogle seconded.
Ayes: All Nays: None Motion carried.
Police Chief Mike Dodwell informed the Board that the $8216.30 bill from Tazewell County ETSB is for the police records management system and reporting system. In the future this bill will be approximately $5000 annually.
Eric Hansen reported that contracts for Phase II of the water/sewer rehab program will be available at the next Board meeting. He has also been meeting with Stuber Land Design so as to coordinate improvements with the Winning Communities downtown project.
Trustee Getz will meet with Eric Hansen in hopes of setting up guidelines, procedures and rules regarding sidewalk reimbursement and alley use and maintenance.
Trustee Getz moved to approve Ordinance 18-106 amending the water & sewer base rates for the Village of Tremont. Replogle seconded.

Attorney Dick Wherry presented a tentative copy of Ordinance 18-107 which would establish a hotel tax within the city limits of Tremont for review only.
Regarding Westside annexation, President Bong and attorney Wherry informed the Board that the plats are done, and an ordinance indicating a time sequence as well as village obligations and property owner obligations will be drawn up.
Trustee Replogle moved to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss employee compensa- tion and benefits. Scott seconded.
