City of Havana Council met May 25.

Public Comment # 1
Finance & Purchasing
Approve Marketing Investment to the Illinois River Road National Scenic Byway in the amount of $500.00.
Personnel
1. Approve the hiring of Nick Pratt as Full Time Animal Control/Zoning Officer.
2. Approve the hiring of Rachael Homan as a Part Time employee to be used in multiple departments as needed.
3. The City of Havana will also have the use of a CareerLink worker at no cost to the City.
Public Safety
1. Approve a request by Candy Gann, Havana VFW Service Officer, to have the Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 28th, 2018. Line up for the parade will be at 9:30 a.m. on Pearl Street. The parade will step off at 10:00 a.m.
Public Works
1. Approve a curb cut at 523 S. Broadway for Lorissa Quinn to allow for a driveway.
