CITY OF EAST PEORIA: Sales tax rate increase goes into effect July 1

City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on June 20.

Effective July 1, 2018, the City's Non-Home Rule Sales Tax Rate will go up from 1.25% to 1.75%. Please follow this link to the Illinois Department of Revenue Informational Bulletin from May 2018 for information. If you have any questions, please contact the Illinois Department of Revenue.
