City of Chillicothe Plan Commission met June 6.

I. Call to order: Chairman Parkins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
II. Roll Call:

III. Welcome new member Maria Geiger
IV. Approval of April 3, 2018 Minutes: Roger John-- motion to approve Andy Ruhland 2nd.
Unanimously approved by members present.
V. Public hearing concerning changing 214 W. Ash St. from R-1 To I-1 Scott Turner was sworn in to give testimony concerning change. Current building not large enough and would like to extend existing building to Ash street. No public input. Roger John motioned to approve. Second by Lisa Hammer. Unanimous approval by members present. 9 -0
VI. Election of Chairman and Secretary Dennis Parkins nominated for Chairman and Joe Binstock for Secretary. Vote 7 yes, 2 no.
VII. More discussion regarding Landscape Ordinance. Dennis said that he contacted Stephanie Ferris regarding her taking on the roll of inspector. She said she would be willing. Discussions were held on planting times, non compliance, and dumpster screens. Dennis will bring back revisions.
VIII. Next meeting date and time. July 3, 2018-- 7:00 at City Hall
IX. Andy Ruhland motioned for adjournment. Second by Thu Truitt Unanimously approved at 7:58
