Shade Makers Committee Meeting met June 26, 2018.
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Trish Connor at 5:10pm
Present: Alderman Trish Connor; Secretary Judi Thornton; Maria Geiger; Jerry Donnelly
Project: Catch the Beauty
Project Budget: up to $150
Project Awards:
Five awards including rock and picture books will be presented for exemplary landscaping
1. Commercial Property
2. Residential Property
3. Hidden Treasure/Special Feature
4. All-around Winner
5. Rental/Investment Property
Advertisements:
Chairman Connor will create advertisements and hard copies distributed through local organizations.
Advertisement in bulletin and put on Facebook, city, and police websites and will distribute hard copy forms to library, Pearce, and Chamber only.

July 4th and 11th Bulletin
July 16th Committee to Review Nominated Properties (meet at 4:00p City Hall)
July 26th Presentation of awards during Thursday’s downtown
Aug 13th Presentation of awards during City Council Meeting
Adjournment: Motion to adjourn at 6:00p by Maria Geiger and seconded by Jerry Donnelly. All voted in favor.
