Chillicothe Public Library District Board met July 26.

1. Call To Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:38 pm by Sue Mowbray
a. Present: Sue Mowbray, Jane Harrison, Patty Audo, Mary Aylmer, Carmen Jenkins, Jeremy Friedrich, Judi Thornton
b. Absent: Raquel Herron
2. Public Comment: none
3. Approval of Minutes: May 2018 minutes were submitted by Jeremy Friedrich. Motion made by Patty Audo to accept minutes and seconded by Carmen Jenkins; all voted in favor.
4. Treasurer’s Report: Motion made by Judi Thornton and seconded by Jane Harrison to accept treasurer’s report; all voted in favor.
5. Director’s Report: Director Aylmer submitted her report for June.
6. Unfinished Business: Motion made by Judi Thornton and seconded by Jane Harrison to set staff salary for FY2019 using proposed merit increases, for Mary to collect further salary data from similar library districts for FY2020 salary range adjustments, and to then adjust salary ranges upon review.
a. Motion made by Carmen Jenkins and seconded by Jane Harrison to approve Meeting Date Ordinance #2018-03; all voted in favor.
b. Motion made by Jane Harrison and seconded by Judi Thornton to approve Prevailing Wage Ordinance #2018-04; all voted in favor.
c. Motion made by Patty Audo and seconded by Jane Harrison to approve Non Resident Card Resolution #2018-05; all voted in favor
d. Motion made by Carmen Jenkins and seconded by Judi Thornton to approve Approval of FY19 Operating Budget; all voted in favor.
e. Continue to review and vote next month on Policy update – Investment of Public Funds.
7. New Business:
a. Building & Maintenance Ordinance #2018-06
b. Motion made by Jane Harrison and seconded by Judi Thornton to update the Prohibited Gifts Policy to identify the Library Director as the Ethics Officer and then to approved the policy; all voted in favor
