Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.

Enjoy a Dairy Queen Blizzard and help a child.

The annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day will be Thursday, August 2, 2018.

This is the 13th annual Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, with $1 or more from every Blizzard® Treat sold at participating locations donated to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals), including OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

The 2017 DQ Miracle Treat day raised $34,395 for OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois!

OSF Children’s Hospital serves 34 counties throughout the state. Dairy Queens in all regions are participating. Visit www.MiracleTreatDay.com to find your nearest participating Dairy Queen® or DQ Grill & Chill® location.
