City of Minonk issued the following announcement on Aug. 3.
The Minonk Police Department is proud to announce Officer Dakota Park has successfully completed the 560—Hour Basic Law Enforcement Academy at the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center in Decatur, Illinois. Officer Park received his Certificate at the 2018 Graduation Ceremony held August 2, 2018 at Richland Community College in Decatur. In attendance were Police Chief Marc Wright, City Administrative Manager Bill Moline, along with his family. Officer Park joined the department in January of 2018, and grew up here in Minonk.
