El Paso Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 1.
The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce rolled out its new name and logo today for media and members of its Executive, Marketing and Ambassador committees. The El Paso Chamber (EPC) is the organization’s new name, effective immediately. The event featured the name roll out as well as the new acronym-based logo “EPC.”
“We are excited to take this next step,” explained Chamber President and CEO David Jerome, adding, “our desire was to make the name easier to incorporate and to reflect changes in our trajectory.” Jerome, in his first year as Chamber President and CEO, has driven a number of internal changes in the Chamber including reinvigorating the marketing and branding for the organizations. Jerome was quick to add, “our efforts to make these brand changes are really driven by our members and in particular by Anne Mitchell and Dana Guerra, chairs of our marketing committee.
The previous name, the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, had been in place since for several decades. @ El Paso Chamber
