State House race: Democrat Mussman wins voter tally in Bloomingdale Township

Michelle Mussman led Republican Jillian Rose Bernas in votes cast in Bloomingdale Township for the District 56 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Mussman appeared to outpace Bernas by a margin of 18.6 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Michelle Mussman, won by a margin of 4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Jim Moynihan, who received 2,123 votes to Mussman's 2,297.
