City of Canton Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met March 12.

A regular meeting of the Canton Fire and Police Commission was held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. The meeting was called to order at 1:04 p.m. by Commissioner Mayall.
Present: Commissioner Samantha Norton
Commissioner Chad Mayall
Absent: Public Safety Director Dick Fairburn, Commissioner Greg Gossett
Public Participation- none
Motions were made by Commissioner Norton seconded by Commissioner Mayall to accept the Minutes of the February 12, 2019 regular meeting and the FebruaryBudget. All Ayes, motions carried.
Training certificates: No certificates were presented.
Old Business – Probationary Employees. No report, as PS Director Fairburn was not in attendance.
Bills: None
Testing Cycles: No action at this time. Police Lieutenant testing is in the study phase.
New Business : None.
Having no other business, a Motion was made by Commissioner Norton seconded by Commissioner Mayall to adjourn the meeting. All Ayes, motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
