Veteran Illinois state Sen. Chuck Weaver (R-Peoria) is slated to host a district Town Hall meeting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22 at Snyder Village in Metamora, where he will speak with residents about community issues and update them on what’s happening in Springfield.

Now in his fourth year in Springfield, Weaver is a member of the Education, Telecommunications & Info Technology, Insurance, Licensed Activities and Pensions, and the Labor and Housing committees.
His 37th Senate District includes all or parts of Mercer, Lee, Bureau, Henry, Knox, Stark, Peoria, Woodford and Marshall Counties in Central Illinois.
