City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
The East Peoria Fire Department will conduct free car seat checks from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, December 4 at the Central Fire Station, 201 W. Washington St. There will be no monthly event in January or February. They will resume in March.
