City of Chillicothe issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Join our 2nd Annual Jeep Jingle benefiting Cops & Kids Christmas and Cuddles For Kids !
Decorate your Jeep and convoy to the Chillicothe Christmas Parade and bring a new with tags stuffed animal to donate to Cuddles For Kids.
$25 to enter (plus new with tags stuffed animal) All money raised goes towards helping kids in need have a better Christmas. Awards to the best decorated and brightest (Clark Griswold award) Jeep!
Convoy from Detweiller Park Riverside to Chillicothe and participate in the Chillicothe Christmas Parade. This year we will end up at Di's Downtown Chillicothe where they will donate a percentage of sales to Cops and Kids Christmas!
Last year we raised $900 and over 30 stuffed animals were donated.
*By registering for our event you are agreeing to follow the rules of the road, have your vehicle insured, and agree not to hold the City of Chillicothe, Chillicothe Police Department, or Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 247 responsible for any injuries or accidents that happen before, during, or after the event. You also acknowledge that you a valid driver's license while participating in this event. No alcohol, consumption of alcohol, or being under the influence of alcohol or other drugs is allowed on the roadways during our event.
