2 St. Clair County residents in their thirties test positive for COVID-19 on May 17

Two St. Clair County residents in their thirties tested positive for COVID-19 on May 17, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 119 positive cases reported in St. Clair County among residents in their thirties, accounting for 14.8 percent of all cases in the county. Through May 17, St. Clair County has reported a total of 805 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 65 of which have ended with the victim's death.

Illinois gathers all of their COVID-19 data from across the state electronically. The reported cases and deaths will fluctuate as additional info is gathered. Chicago was home to one of the first known cases of COVID-19 in the US, as well as it's transmission.
