Woodford County Finance & Economic Development Committee met April 7.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call – Chuck Nagel (chairman), Josh Davis (v-ch.), Richard Hill, Emily Barker all present. Bryant Kempf is excused. Also present are Jim Cummings along with Jeff and Alicia Hermann.
4. Public Input
Ms. Alicia Hermann 198 Hillside Road, Bay View Garden stated that Jeff and herself are with Hermann and Associates and were present in case there were any questions that the committee would like to ask.
5. New Business
a. Selection of Grant Program Contractor for Sidewalk Projects
Motion to recommend to the full Board to hire the low bid from Midwest Engineering for $79,775 for the engineering services for the sidewalk projects made by Davis, seconded by Barker. Research with IDOT shows that Midwest carries the qualification and license for doing this work. Roll call vote – Davis-yes; Barker-yes; Hill-yes; Nagel-yes. Motion passed.
