East Peoria Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 10.
Tropical depression Cristobal is expected to bring severe weather to the central Illinois area over the next few days, including heavy rain and high winds. According to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, this weather could serve as a threat to many temporary structures, including tents set up for outdoor seating. Please take precautions to secure or take down these structures while the storms pass.
