City of East Peoria issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
East Peoria Police are currently investigating multiple burglaries to motor vehicles, residential burglaries, and motor vehicle thefts. These occurred overnight in the 1600-1700 block of Highview Road and the surrounding streets. EPPD asks the community to make sure your vehicles and residences are locked. Anyone with suspect information or surveillance video please contact Detective Ernst at 309-427-7707.
