As of September 17, there have been 249 Tazewell County residents under 20 years of age who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 6,346 residents under 20 in the county who had been tested, meaning that three percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through September 17, there have been 1,485 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 13 deaths from the coronavirus in Tazewell County.
