Illinois State House District 88 issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
With harvest season underway the Illinois Department of Labor is reminding farmers to use caution around grain bins. Grain bin entrapments were the cause of 23 deaths in the United States last year alone. There have already been 11 entrapments and four deaths in Illinois this year.
