CALL TO ORDER
The City Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M by Mayor Bradford.
ROLL CALL
Aldermen present for Roll Call: Alderman Little, Naugle, Crum, Amundson, Neuhaus, and Neumann.
Also Present: Clerk Steele, Treasurer Harris, Water Superintendent Brown, Police Chief Merritt, Fire Chief Fortier, Asst. Fire Chief Hermancinski, Office Manager Minson, Deputy Clerk Ramsay and Attorney Herman were also present.

REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES:
Water and Sewer – Alderman Amundson
Valves at Logan Lift Station has been fixed.
Electrician was in to work on transfer switch at Logan Lift Station.
Full-time employees have been working on training for Water Operator licensing. Both will take their exams in February.
Law Enforcement – Alderman Little
Yearend report for 2020 is on file in the Clerk’s office. The department responded to 1,400 dispatched calls for service during 2020. Alderman Little commended Chief Merritt and the department for doing a great job.
Alderman Crum spoke on HB 3653 and encouraged everyone to reach out to Governor Pritzker about concerns for the department and our residents.
Streets – Alderman Neumann
Street Crew worked through the weekend on chipping.
Public Works Director met with a Golf Course Superintendent to go over options for best fit of mowing equipment.
Continued work on picking up tree limbs for at least the next two weeks is expected. First pass through is anticipated to be done tomorrow. A second pass through will be done prior to working on parks. We will continue until it is all picked up. The street crew will assist elderly that have not been able to move to the curb themselves with volunteers.
David Ghidina has been hired as a part-time street crew member on an as-needed basis.
Public Buildings / Parks – Alderman Naugle
Ice build-up and soffit issues are noticed on the City Hall roof. Further examination will take place this week.
Fire – Alderman Neuhaus
Pierce Rep has financing plans available that will be sent to Corry to review for a potential new fire truck.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Approve December 21, 2020 Regular Council Meeting minutes.
Approve Bi-Monthly expenditures in the amount of $116,870.47
Approve payment to Air One Equipment in the amount of $5,894.00 for bunker gear.
Approve payment to Maurer Stautz Engineering in the amount of $1,800.00 to prepare drawings and IEPA permit application.
Approve payment to Vermeer in the amount of $1,757.12 for drum drive repair to the woodchipper.
Approve payment to MES in the amount of $7,600.00 for air packs for the fire department.
APPROVE CONSENT AGENDA:
Alderman Amundson made motion, seconded by Alderman Neumann, to approve the Consent Agenda in its entirety. Roll call vote: Ayes: Alderman Little, Neumann, Naugle, Amundson, Crum and Neuhaus. Nays – none. Motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS:
Alderman Neumann made motion, seconded by Alderman Crum, to approve appointment of Anthony Brown as Public Works Director. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Nays: None. Motion passed.
Alderman Little made motion, seconded by Alderman Neumann, to approve payment to Velde Ford in the amount of $540.73 for repair work to squad 17-1. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Nays: None. Motion passed.
Alderman Amundson made motion, seconded by Alderman Neuhaus, to approve payment to Hicks Gas in the amount of $582.28 for propane for sewer generator. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Nays: None. Motion passed.
Alderman Neumann made motion, seconded by Alderman Neuhuas, to approve payment to A to Z, not to exceed $1,200.00, for rental of a woodchipper. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Nays: None. Motion passed.
Alderman Neumann made motion, seconded by Alderman Crum, to approve wage adjustment for street employee Tim Smith, who stepped down from supervisory position, to $17.00 per hour. Roll Call Vote: All Ayes. Nays: None. Motion passed.
OTHER BUSINESS PERTAINING TO THE CITY:
Alderman Neumann made everyone aware that the MH/NP District 102 is looking into consolidating the schools and closing Rogers School.
