Famed comedian Louis C.K. was set to play the Peoria Civic Center on Saturday night for a 7:30 p.m. show.
Ticket prices, ranging from $35 to $75, are at available at Ticketmaster.
C.K. comes to town with his star on the rise after recently being tabbed No. 4 on the Rolling Stones “50 Best Comics of All-Time” list.
“Staring with his 2007 special Shameless, he turned a guy slinging d**k jokes and absurdist one-liners into a guy slinging d**k jokes and rigorously honest stories about his life and those closest to him,” the magazine wrote. “Since then, C.K. has challenged himself to deliver on an unprecedented scale.”
C.K. recently took his national tour to New York City, where he played before a sold-out Madison Square Garden audience that swept aside COVID-19 concerns to see him in action. It was a welcome change for C.K., who at his last NYC performance before the aforementioned appearance was met with heckling and protest stemming from sexual misconduct allegations leveled against him.
