City of Minonk Zoning Board met Dec. 2.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Call to Order: The meeting of the City of Minonk Zoning Board was called to order at 5:30 P.M. by Zoning Officer Bill Moline.

Roll Call: In attendance Jerry Welch, Eric Aeschliman, Craig Meyer and Bill Moline

Agenda: Discussed variance request for setback for solar panels at 420 W. First Street. Ordinance states there is a required 30 ft. set back to adjacent properties and the current plan is for 10-15 feet. Adjacent property is owned by the homeowner requesting the variance. City Administrator reviewed with the homeowner the discrepancy in the property lines provided by Woodford County, so the homeowner is going to get it straightened out at the Court House. Committee discussed approving the variance request as long as the property lines were legally corrected and the application information is correct.

Motion made to approve variance made by Craig Meyer, seconded by Jerry Welch.
