Public Comments:

Dan Shipman attended the meeting to again voice his concerns with traffic flow on Park Ave. from Garden St. to Court St. He is concerned with traffic being too close to the sidewalk in this area. He stated that the original request may have been a misunderstanding as the letter he received referred to Park Ave. between S. 14th St. and Court St. He stated that there is more room on the south side of Park Ave. than the north side where parking is allowed.

At this time, there will be no change in traffic flow and parking in this location.

Old Business:

1. Speeding Concern 600 Block of Ann Eliza St.

This item will be put on the next agenda. The speed spy will be put in this location next week to monitor traffic speed.

2. Parking Concern 1300 Block of West Shore Dr.

The committee has continued to monitor this location regarding a parking concern brought by a citizen and have not seen traffic congested as described by the citizen. They will be contacted and asked to call the Police when parking is congested in this location.

New Business:

1. Traffic Concern Intersection of N. 16th St. and Matilda St.

The committee has monitored this location and have not observed the issues brought forward by the citizen. They will be contacted and asked to call the Police if there are vehicles and trailers parked on both sides of the street blocking visibility. It is noted that the intersection is signed properly. John made a motion to leave the area as is. Trent seconded the motion. All in favor.

2. Parking Concerns Washington St. between S. 10th St. and Court St.

John asked for consideration to remove the 2-hour parking in this location and to update the signage. He will write up a proposal for the next meeting.

3. Turn Lanes at Stadium Dr. and Court St.

This intersection will be improved next year with widening and traffic signals. Josie is seeking to stripe it as right turn only from Stadium Dr. onto Court St. After discussion John made a motion to do the striping making this location right turn only. Trent seconded the motion. All in favor.
