Box Score The Braves headed down to Miami, FL, looking to pick up a few wins and found a tough challenge in Stephen F. Austin.
The Braves struggled early on in the game, only shooting 26% from the field between the first two quarters. Stephen F. Austin came out of the gate hot, shooting 57% in the first half. The second half looked better from the braves as they shot 41% in the last two quarters and keeping SFA to the same percentage. Points in the paint were a big difference between the teams, with SFA scoring 50 down low, while the Braves were held to 10. SFA grabbed more rebounds (31-39), handed out more assists (15-23) and had more steals (3-15) than the Braves by the end of the game.
Caroline Waite continued her scoring streak, putting up 13 points, four assists and collecting one steal. Waite is also still perfect from the free throw line this season, going 7-7 in the loss. Isis Fitch dropped nine points and added in two steals and two rebounds. Alex Rouse also put up nine points and dished out 3 assists.
