Peoria Standard

There were six offenders living in Fulton County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows four men and two women were released in Fulton County. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old woman sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2021, and the oldest was a 47-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2021.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Austin M. Ward. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2019 when he was 27 years old. He is now 30.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
