Q2 2022 Recap: 2 parolees from Tazewell County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There were two offenders convicted of crimes involving alcohol living in Tazewell County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Peoria Standard.

The data shows a man and a woman were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for crimes involving alcohol was 46. The younger parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced in 2014, and the oldest was a 61-year-old woman sentenced in 2021.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jacob Lehmkuhl. He was convicted in 2014 when he was 22 years old. He is now 30.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
