Washington, D.C. – Congressman Darin LaHood (IL-16) and State Senator Tom Bennett (53rd Senate District) announced that they opened a new district office in Morris to support constituent services and outreach in east-central Illinois.
"As our office continues to expand our outreach efforts into the new 16th District, we want to ensure that all areas of the district are represented and have access to constituent services," said Rep. LaHood. "The 16th District constituent service office in Grundy County will provide east-central Illinois residents with a reliable resource to receive assistance with the federal government and support our constituent engagement efforts. I am proud to partner with State Senator Bennett to ensure that our constituents get the support they need in Washington and Springfield."
“The district office in Morris is a significant step in our collaborative efforts with Congressman Darin LaHood to enhance constituent services and outreach in the area,” said State Senator Tom Bennett. “This office will help provide easy access to the support and resources they need both at the federal and state level. We are committed to amplifying our impact and providing exceptional assistance to our constituents in this region.”
“I look forward to Congressman Darin LaHood and State Senator Tom Bennett joining me in the City of Morris with the opening of a new district office,” said State Senator Sue Rezin. “The presence of their joint district office will ensure that residents of our region will have easy access to constituent services as well as state and federal assistance from all of their locally elected officials.”

As a mayor, I appreciate the level of commitment and dedication Congressman LaHood and Senator Bennett have for their districts.
