State Senator Neil Anderson, State Representative Travis Weaver, and Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins have announced an upcoming Town Hall event in Hanna City on November 13. The event aims to provide area residents with an update on the happenings in Springfield and how they impact the local communities.

Senator Anderson expressed his excitement about the event, stating, "This is also a great way to let your voices be heard prior to the start of the 2024 legislative session in January. I look forward to meeting with the great folks of Peoria County again."

Representative Weaver also expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "It’s a great opportunity for us to listen to the people we are so honored to represent. This is a chance for residents to meet their elected officials, ask questions, and receive assistance with state or law enforcement issues."

The event will take place at Coffee Can, located at 224 N. 2nd Street in Hanna City, from 6-7 p.m. Representatives from the offices of Rep. Weaver and Sen. Anderson will be present to assist attendees with their needs.
