State Representative Ryan Spain is calling on the community to join him in supporting local families in need this holiday season through his annual Holiday Diaper Drive. As the holiday season approaches, it is important to remember that not everyone is fortunate enough to experience the same joy and abundance. For some families, this time of year can be particularly challenging as they struggle to provide for the basic needs of their children.

"Diapers, baby wipes, and diaper cream are some of the most sought-after items for young families and women," emphasizes Rep. Spain. Recognizing the significant impact that these essential items can have on the lives of families in need, he is urging individuals and organizations to contribute to the cause.

Donations for the Holiday Diaper Drive are now being accepted until December 11. Whether it's dropping off donations in person or shipping them directly to Rep. Spain's Peoria office, every contribution will make a difference. Additionally, those who prefer the convenience of online shopping can make donations through the Amazon wish list.

The address for drop-off or shipment of donations is: 5407 N. University St., Arbor Hall, Suite B, Peoria, IL 61614. Rep. Spain's team has also organized a Drive-Thru Donation Event on December 11, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Illinois Central College North Campus – Arbor Hall. This event provides an opportunity for individuals to contribute in person and support the initiative directly.

"All donations received will be distributed to local food and diaper pantries within our 73rd House District," confirms Rep. Spain.
