Beginning on Monday, March 11, both eastbound lanes of W Glen Avenue will be closed between N Dawn Drive and N University Street. N Nelson Drive at W Glen Avenue also will be closed to all traffic.

The closure of both eastbound lanes and the intersection of N Nelson Drive at W Glen Avenue is expected to last until late summer, weather permitting.

A head-to-head traffic configuration will be utilized for eastbound and westbound traffic on Glen Avenue between N Dawn Drive and N University Street. Drivers should be aware of the traffic pattern change when turning eastbound onto Glen Avenue from N Dawn Drive, or when crossing N University onto Glen Avenue.

Drivers should exercise extreme caution in the area, follow posted speed limits, and watch for these lane closures. The use of alternative routes, when possible, is advised. These lane closures are necessary for pavement reconstruction work as part of the Glen Avenue Reconstruction Project.
