Rep. Weaver has issued a reminder about the ongoing Community Clean-Up Project, emphasizing that there is still time for participation. The initiative, aimed at K-12 students, offers an opportunity to earn a Certificate of Service from Rep. Weaver's office by collecting trash from public spaces.

"The last day for your K-12 student to earn a Certificate of Service from my office is approaching fast on June 15th!" Rep. Weaver announced. "All they have to do is fill one bag of trash collected from a public space, then submit a photo and fill out their info at the link below."

The project not only aims to clean up local areas but also seeks to instill values of community service among young participants. "You’d be shocked how much garbage there is in our public spaces," Rep. Weaver noted.

"This is a great way to teach your children about service, spend time together, and make your community a better place," he added. "Also, with the warm weather we have now, it’s a joy to be walking outside!"

Rep. Weaver encourages everyone to spread the word: "Like and share with your friends and family so we can join together in cleaning up Illinois!"

Participants can submit their photos and information through the provided Google Forms link.
