Illinois ranks low in tax-friendliness for middle-class families, study finds

A recent study found that Illinois is among the least tax-friendly states for middle-class families. This trend must be reversed or families will be facing more severe impacts soon. "We have to reduce tax burdens on our residents to make our state a more affordable and attractive place to live," stated Rep. Weaver.
