Nick Wheeler, Chief of Staff for Illinois' 93rd House District Representative Travis, has returned from military leave. Announcing his return in a brief message, Wheeler expressed his enthusiasm to resume his duties.
“I’m excited to say that I am back from military leave, and today is my first day back at work!” Wheeler stated. He extended his gratitude to Rep. Hauter, Anne, Karun, Sarah, and the entire team for their support during his absence. “They covered all the bases and ensured things ran smoothly over the past few months,” he added.
Wheeler acknowledged the honor of serving in the military but emphasized his eagerness to return to his role within the district. “While wearing the uniform is the privilege and honor of a lifetime, I’m thrilled to be back and serving Illinois’ 93rd House District,” he said.
He concluded by expressing his anticipation for reconnecting with colleagues: “Looking forward to speaking with everyone soon!”
