Energy bill aid available through LIHEAP until August 2025

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now available to support income-qualified households with their energy bills. This program offers assistance for natural gas, propane, electricity bills, and furnace-related expenses. Applications are currently being accepted and will remain open until August 15, 2025, or until the allocated funds are depleted.

Individuals interested in applying can visit helpillinoisfamilies.com to begin the process or reach out to their local township for further assistance.
