Recently, a notable housing project by the ROCHouse ministry of First United Methodist Church of Pekin was toured by Representative Weaver. This initiative aims to provide housing for families in transition.
Last month, volunteers from World Mission Builders joined forces with church and community members to frame a duplex on North Fifth Street. The structure is named ‘Providence Place’ and is intended to offer not only housing but also spiritual guidance and support tailored to each family's needs.
The ROCHouse ministry's mission is described as transforming lives for Christ by offering various forms of assistance. Acknowledgment was given to all contributors who have supported this endeavor. "We truly are blessed to have so many members of our community eager to help those in need."
