Earlier this week, Representative Weaver and his staff visited the Surgical Technologists program at Illinois Central College's Peoria campus. During the visit, they toured the facilities, learned about the classes offered, and explored the training each surgical technologist undergoes. They also discussed employment opportunities available to graduates of the program.
Representative Weaver expressed gratitude towards the staff, students, and administrators at ICC for their hospitality during the tour. He noted that he had an opportunity to "scrub in" on a demonstration.
"Thank you to the amazing staff, students, and administrators at ICC for your warm welcome and amazing tour!" said Representative Weaver.
