The Peoria County Courthouse, Veterans Assistance Commission, Election Commission, Highway Department offices, and Peoria City/County Health Department offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2024.
Peoria County Animal Protection Services will extend their closure to Saturday, November 30. However, animal control officers will be available through their after-hours contact number: (309) 674-3131.
While the Peoria County Sheriff's Office, Jail, and Juvenile Detention Center will continue operations with staffing in place, records and visitation services will remain unavailable until Sunday, December 1. During this period, inmates can still receive remote visits. The bonding lobby will operate during its usual hours.
