On November 25, 2024, LaHood met with members of the Woodford County Farm Bureau to discuss impending legislation affecting the agriculture sector and emphasized the importance of expanding global trade markets. He mentioned that "new trade agreements like the USMCA have benefited farmers" "This morning, I met with members of the Woodford County Farm Bureau to get their input on upcoming legislation that will impact the agriculture industry and discuss the need to expand trade markets across the globe."
Later that day, he reported meeting with Jeff Troutman, Princeville’s Village President. They discussed future projects and how his office can support these initiatives.
