I. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Williams called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes of October 29, 2024, was made by Member Daley and was seconded by Member Duncan.
Motion carried. (13-0)
III. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS/REPORTS/OTHER MINUTES/UPDATES
A. Monthly Financial Report
Ms. Kusturin directed the committee members to the September 2024 Monthly Financial Report. She provided highlights from the report. She advised there is an updated IML on the website; with the current estimates there is about a 1.3- 1.4 shortfall of expected FY2024. We think we will be able to cover that, and we will have to control spending as we continue into FY2025. Ms. Kusturin stood for questions; there were none.
B. Long-Term Care Services Fund Report
Ms. McCord directed the committee to the report in the packet. She advised the fund balance is currently at $3.2 million at the end of September; well on track to meeting that target. Ms. McCord stood for questions; there were none.
C. October 2024 Accounts Payable Review
Chairperson Williams called for questions from the committee. Member Reneau noted food and beverages have gone down, he thanked the department for their efforts.
D. Peoria County Capital Projects, Funding Sources, and Progress
Ms. McCord directed the committee to the report in the packet. Ms. McCord stood for questions on payments or project progress; there were none.
E. 2024 Peoria County Audit Planning Communication to the Board
Ms. McCord advised there was a connection meeting with Baker Tilly; part of their required process is to provide communication to the board regarding their audit approach. They were recently connected with Sikich, the previous auditing firm, for a smooth transition. Field work will begin in January. Ms. McCord stood for questions; there were none.
