Darin LaHood, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 16th district since 2015, recently shared several updates on social media reflecting his political positions and endorsements. LaHood, who succeeded Aaron Schock in Congress, was born in Peoria, Illinois, and holds degrees from Loras College and John Marshall Law School.
On January 23, 2025, LaHood congratulated John Ratcliffe on his confirmation as CIA Director. He expressed confidence that Ratcliffe's experience and leadership would bolster national security efforts against adversaries. As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, LaHood looks forward to collaborating with Ratcliffe.
