February 12, 2025, Peoria, IL – Robdeario E. Moore, aged 20, faces charges of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm following an incident last month at the Lexington Hills Apartment Complex. During his detention hearing, the State's Petition to Detain was approved, ensuring Moore remains in custody until his trial.
The shooting occurred around 5 a.m. on January 14. Police responded to a call on the 3400 block of W. Oakcrest Drive about a man who had been shot. Officers found a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his leg at the scene. The victim identified Moore from a photo lineup as the shooter and stated that Moore had previously threatened him. The incident was also captured on video. Detectives arrested Moore on Monday.
