There are ten days remaining in the annual Community Clean-Up Project, which concludes on Friday, May 16. The initiative encourages community members, including local school classrooms, to participate.

The project aims to raise environmental awareness by motivating individuals to collect and properly dispose of litter. Participants are invited to document their efforts by submitting photos of themselves with the trash they have collected.

Students need parental or guardian permission to pick up trash at a location of their choice. Those who fill a standard kitchen-size trash bag with litter should submit a photo via email to: [email protected].

Students who complete the project and submit a photo will receive a Certificate of Service from Rep. Weaver. This certificate can be used for resumes or job applications.

"Thank you again for your participation!"
