Today, the spotlight is on Angie DeVenney, a retired third-grade teacher from Irving Elementary School in Kewanee. She has been recognized for her contributions to education and the positive influence she has had on her students.

One of Angie's former students expressed their gratitude, stating: “Mrs. DeVenney helped me grow a lifelong love of learning. She made learning something exciting to look forward to.
