Today, Kewanee Central Elementary/Junior High School is recognizing three educators for their contributions to the school community. Ali Philhower, Peggy Costenson, and Jennifer Vickrey have been highlighted in the Woman Educator Spotlight for their impact on both students and colleagues.

A nominator shared how these teachers inspired them: “Seeing them teach and sharing a classroom with them as an aide made me find the desire to teach and go back to college to become a teacher. They are amazing teachers who work hard for students to become better.”

The dedication of Ali, Peggy, and Jennifer is appreciated by those around them. Their commitment has left a positive mark on many lives within the school.
