On Friday, Feb. 14, former Eureka High School standout Slater Wilcox’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.

The game took place at Lou St. Amant Field. This was their first matchup against the Warhawks this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at Lou St. Amant Field against Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
