Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, traffic patterns on West Pioneer Parkway at the intersection of North University Street will undergo changes. Eastbound and westbound traffic on West Pioneer Parkway will shift into the northern lanes of the parkway. This shift is part of the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project.
Current lane closures at the intersection will remain unchanged.
For detours, northbound traffic on North University Street should use West Willow Knolls Drive to North Allen Road and then travel east on West Altorfer Drive. Eastbound traffic on West Pioneer Parkway heading north on North University Street should proceed north on North Sommer Street and then west on West Altorfer Drive.
Southbound traffic on North University Street should use West Altorfer Drive to North Allen Road, continuing west on West Willow Knolls Drive. For westbound traffic on West Pioneer Parkway needing to travel south on North University Street, the recommended route is south on North Allen Road and then west on West Willow Knolls Drive.
