Road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented on several streets in the East Bluff area near Glen Oak Park, located at 2218 N. Prospect Road. These measures will take place from 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, to accommodate the Jubilee Day: A Juneteenth Celebration Drone Show, sponsored by the Peoria Park District.
Drivers are advised to be aware of these closures and restrictions. Caution is recommended, and alternative routes should be considered.
The specific road closures include:
- N. Prospect Road from E. McClure Avenue to E. Frye Avenue.
- E. Republic Street at N. Atlantic Avenue.
- E. Arcadia Avenue at N. Atlantic Avenue.
- E. Archer Avenue at N. Atlantic Avenue.
